Northern Mental Health Training & Resource Registry

With the assistance of the Keewatin Community Development Authority (KCDA), The Embracing Life Committee has developed an online Northern Mental Health Training and Resource Registry. The Registry identifies community Crisis Response Teams and Mental Wellness Teams, team leads and front-line workers at the community level who have received health promotion, suicide prevention, intervention and/or post-vention training (including trainers), and the dates by which they received their training.

The Registry will help to:
  • Promote and facilitate networking and joint training opportunities;
  • Aid communication between front line workers and communities during a crisis; and
  • Assist in developing a strategic plan for training and building capacity in the north to better address suicide prevention, intervention and post-vention needs.

The Registry can be accessed by all Embracing Life Committee members and Crisis Response Team leads and Mental Wellness Team leads in northern Saskatchewan.  Please send an email to embracinglifesk@gmail.com to receive the username and password.
